Cherry and ebony are examples of dyed finishes that are often used. If you don't fancy seeing the actual grain on the wood, you can look for a white finish. If you go for wood computer desks in the lower price ranges, be aware that they often feature only a thin skin of wood.
While a wood computer desk is usually an excellent option to take, you should be wary of low quality products. A safe option is an oak desk, durable, always classy and always in season.
